Meter Set Moratorium

Harrison County Public Water Supply District #2 has experienced enormous growth and demand for our water and is operating at absolute maximum capacity. In order to continue to provide for our current customers, and until more water is made available,

THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS HAS DECLARED EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY:

A moratorium on new meter sets. No new meters can be installed until current water capacity is increased.

No large numbers of animals can be added to use existing meters.

Any customer allowing another person to hook on to the meter serving them is in breech of the Water User Agreement Contract they signed with the District when their service was made available to them.
